Safeguarding Policy

How London Robotics School protects children attending courses, Trial Lessons and holiday camps.

Last updated: July 2026

London Robotics School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child who takes part in our Trial Lessons, courses and holiday camps.

We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that parents and carers place significant trust in us when they book a place for their child.

Our Commitment

We aim to provide a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment where children can learn robotics and related skills with confidence.

  • The welfare of the child is paramount
  • All children have the right to protection from harm
  • Concerns about a child’s safety will be taken seriously and acted upon appropriately

Safer Working Practices

We take appropriate steps to reduce risk in our programmes, including:

  • Clear expectations for staff and tutors working with children
  • Appropriate safer recruitment checks for people who work with children in our sessions
  • Supervision arrangements suitable for the activity and age group
  • Use of suitable venues and equipment for educational sessions

We do not use biometric identification systems. Attendance and communication are handled through normal administrative processes.

Code of Conduct

Adults working with children at London Robotics School are expected to:

  • Treat all children with respect and dignity
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Avoid one-to-one situations that are unnecessary or unsupervised where practicable
  • Report concerns promptly
